Managing a sports team shouldn’t feel like a full-time job. The Squad was built to bring everything—scheduling, communication, and organization—into one simple, easy-to-use platform. Instead of juggling group chats, spreadsheets, and multiple apps, teams can run everything from one place.
The goal was to create an experience that feels effortless for busy coaches and players, while still being powerful enough to handle real team logistics. The result is a clean, mobile-first app that keeps everyone on the same page and makes managing a team feel simple again.
The Challenge
Most team management tools are either too complicated or too limited. Coaches were stuck using a mix of apps—text messages, emails, calendars—just to keep their team organized. This led to confusion, missed updates, and unnecessary stress.
The real challenge was building something powerful enough to replace multiple tools, while still keeping it simple enough that anyone could use it without a learning curve. It had to work for different sports, team sizes, and skill levels—all without overwhelming the user.
Our Approach
We focused on simplifying the experience from the ground up. Instead of cramming in features, every part of the app was designed around how teams actually operate—quick communication, clear schedules, and easy access to information.
